- Red Heart Super Saver or worsted weight yarn of your choice
- Size I- 5.50mm crochet hook
- 3- 3/4" - 1" buttons
- Clothes Hanger (or 1/2” wooden dowel cut to approximately 16” in length and twine) for hanging

Gauge- 6 sts x 5 rows= 2" in hdc
- ch 1/ch 2 will NOT count as a stitch unless otherwise stated. The beginning
- When counting posts, the ch 2 WILL count as a post.
Row 1: fhdc 40 (or you can also LOOSELY ch 42, hdc in 3rd ch from the hook and
in each st across). (40 sts)
Row 2-41: ch 2, turn, hdc in each st across. (40sts)
First button tab:
Row 42: hdc in next 5 sts, ch 2, turn. (5 sts)
Row 43-46: rep R42
Row47: hdc in next 2 sts, ch 1, hdc in the last 2 sts, ch 1, turn. (5 sts)
Row48: sc in next 2 sts, sc in the ch 1 sp, sc in the last 2 sts. Fasten off. (5 sts)
Second button tab:
With wrong side facing, count 5 sts from left edge and attach yarn leaving a
long tail for sewing on a button.
Ch 2, hdc to the end (5 sts)

Middle button tab:
With wrong side facing, count 18 sts from the right and attach yarn leaving
a long tail for sewing on a button
Ch 2, hdc in the next 5 sts

Pocket 1: With right side facing, attach yarn to the 5th post from the right of
Pocket Row 1: ch 1, sc around the same post, sc around the posts of the next 32
Pocket Row 2: ch 1, turn, sc in the same st, *sc in the next 9 sts, 2sc in the next
st, rep *-* to the end. (36 sts)
Pocket Row 3: ch 2, turn, hdc in each st across. (36 sts)
Pocket Row 4: ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. (36 sts)
Pocket Row 5-13: Repeat Pocket Rows 3 and 4. Fasten off.
Pocket Row 14: Attach yarn in the first sc of the pocket (photo A).
Ch 1, sc in the same st, sc 12 along the edge of the pocket and around the
5th posts from the edge of rows 2-12 (photo B), 2 sc in the corner st of the
pocket, 34 sc across the pocket, 2 sc in the next st, 12 sc along the edge of
the pocket and around the 5th posts from the edge of rows 12-2, join with a
sl st. Fasten off.
Attach yarn to Row 14 and rep the steps for pocket 1. For Pocket Row 14 you
will sc around the posts of Row 14-24.
Attach yarn to Row 26 and rep the steps for pocket 1. For Pocket Row 14 you
will sc around the posts of R26-36.
Fasten off. Sew on buttons. Weave in ends. Button onto a clothes hanger. For a more decorative piece, use a wooden dowel and hang with twine.
