This little wrist pouch works up in no time, using Red Heart Reflective yarn, and is perfect for holding small things, such as cash or a house key during your morning or evening jog.

- Size J- 6.00mm crochet hook
- One- 3/4" button
- Tapestry Needle

- hdc- half double crochet
- BLO- back loop only
- hdc2tog- half double crochet 2 sts together
- sc2tog- single crochet 2 sts together
One Size- Fits up to 7” wrist
7 hdc x 5 rows- 2”
- Ch. 1 at the beginning of each row WILL NOT count as a st unless noted otherwise.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each st across. <9 sts>
Row 2-16: ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. <9 sts>
DO NOT FASTEN OFF
Fold piece in half, bringing Row 1 behind Row 16. Ch 1. Turn piece 90 degrees so you are working down the side of the “pocket” through both layers.
Row 1: Sc 8 <8 sts>
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, hdc, hdc2tog, hdc in next 2 sts, hdc2tog, hdc in last st. <6 sts>
Row 3-10: Ch 1, turn, hdc in each st across. <6 sts>
Row 11: Ch 1, turn, hdc, 2 hdc in next, hdc in next 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st, hdc in last st. <8 sts>
Row 12: Ch 1, turn, insert hook into first st as well as both layers of the open side of the pocket, sc in each st across, being sure to go through all 3 layers. Blo sl st in first st of inside of pocket (see photo). <8 sts>
Row 1: Ch 1, blo sc in each st across pocket. <9 sts>
Row 2-3: DO NOT CH, turn, sc in each st across. <9 sts>
Row 4: DO NOT CH, turn, sc2tog, sc in next 5 sts, sc2tog. <7 sts>
Row 5: DO NOT CH, turn, sc in first 2 sts, ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc in last 2 sts. <4 sc, 3 ch>
Row 6: DO NOT CH, turn sc in first 2 sts, 2 sc in ch 3 sp, sc in last 2 sts. <6 sts>
Row 7: DO NOT CH, turn, sc in each st across. <6 sts>
Fold flap down to determine button placement. Sew button in place and weave in all ends.
