- Approx. 260 yds. of worsted weight yarn such as Red Heart With Love (2 strands)
- Size J- 6.00mm crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge).
- Tapestry Needle

- dc- double crochet
- LDC- linked double crochet
- DC2tog- double crochet 2 sts together
- DC3tog- double crochet 3 sts together
- HDC2tog- half double crochet 2 sts together
- HDC3tog- half double crochet 3 sts together
- FLO- front loop only
- BLO- back loop only
- rep- repeat
Linked Double Crochet-Insert hook into the horizontal bar of the previous st (or second ch from hook if you are beginning a new row/round), pull up a loop, insert hook into next st, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops, yo, pull through remaining 2 loops.
Women’s Medium (7 - 8.5)
- I highly recommend working a test swatch to be sure you have the correct gauge.
- Pattern is worked with 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together throughout. A bulky weight yarn may be substituted as long as gauge is met.
- Ch 1/ch 2 at the beginning of each row/round DOES NOT count as a st.
- Joins are made by putting a slst in the first st of each row/round.
Gauge- 11 sts x 7 rows= 4” in LDC
PATTERN (make 2)-
R1: Ch 6, 2 LDC in 3rd ch from hook, LDC in next 2 chs, 5 LDC in last ch. You will now be working along the opposite side of the ch. LDC in next 2 ch, 3 LDC in last ch. Join in first st. (14 sts)
R2: Ch 2, turn, LDC in first st, 2 LDC in next st, LDC in next 4 sts, 2 LDC in next st, LDC in next st, 2 LDC in next st, LDC in next 4 sts, 2 LDC in next st. (18 sts)
R3: Ch 2, turn, LDC in first st, 2 LDC in next st, LDC in next 5 sts, 2 LDC in next st, LDC in next 2 sts, 2 LDC in next st, LDC in next 5 sts, 2 LDC in next st, LDC in last st. (22 sts)
R4-R12: Ch 2, turn, LDC in each st around. Join. (22 sts)
R13: Ch 2, turn, LDC in next 15 sts. Leave remaining sts unworked. (15 sts)
R14-R16: Ch 2, turn, LDC in each st across. (15 sts)
R17: Ch 1, turn, sc in next 2 sts, HDC2tog in next 4 sts, DC3tog, HDC2tog in next 4 sts, sc in last 2 sts. (9 sts)
R18: Ch 1, turn, sc in first st, HDC2tog, DC3tog, HDC2tog, sc in last. (5 sts)
R19: Ch 1, turn, sc in first st, HDC3tog, sc in last st. (3 sts)
R20: Ch 2, DO NOT TURN, LDC in side of same st, 10 LDC along the side of previous 6 rows, slst in FLO of each of the 7 sts across the top, 11 LDC along the other side of the previous 6 rows ending in the side of first st of R19. Beginning in the same st, DC3tog. Join in first LDC. (30 sts)
R21: Ch 2, turn, DC2tog, LDC in next 10 sts, slst in BLO of next 7 sts, LDC in next 10 sts, DC2tog. (28 sts)
R22: Ch 2, turn, LDC around, working OVER (NOT INTO) the slsts. (28 sts)
R23: Ch 2 turn, LDC around. (28 sts)
R24: Ch 1, turn, LOOSELY slst around. (28 sts)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
